I/ ……………………………………………………(Name)/ feel proud and privileged/ to be a Chavarite./ I am aware of/ the rules and values of the school/ and I promise/ to abide by them/ in and out of the school./  I will show respect/ to my teachers,/ parents,/ elders/ and my friends/ and maintain discipline,/ cleanliness,/ and decorum of the classrooms./ I shall always uphold/ the motto of the school/ to be in the light of truth and wisdom./ I pledge my loyalty/ and obedience/ to the core values of the school/ ‘lead us to light from darkness’./ My words and deeds/ shall always be/ worthy of a child of/ St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara./ All these I pledge/ for my own benefit,/ for the benefit of others/ for the honour of my school/ and society/ and above all/for the greater glory of God./
